BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) – Hundreds of men marched from Planned Parenthood in Allston to the State House on Boston Common to speak out against abortion on Saturday afternoon.
Participants in the National Men’s March to End Abortion and Rally for Personality gathered at 11:30 a.m. to begin their march. At 2 p.m., they began demonstrating at the Massachusetts State House where they were met by a counter-pro-choice protest.
The National Men’s March protested on the basis of the idea that men have a role to play in the pro-life movement and recognizes that many women who are considering abortion have been pressured into it by men, according to the National Catholic Register.

“Abortion is health,” a protester shouted from the steps of the State House. The Mass Feminist Struggle Committee organized a counter-demonstration to defend women’s right to abortion.
‘Let us truly understand the choice that is before us as men and make that choice on this march today that we are going to make a new resolve and do more than we ever did before leaving here today’ today,” one protester shouted. .
“When abortion rights are attacked, what do we do? Rise up, fight back,” shouted the Mass Feminist Struggle Committee.
Although there were shouts from both sides, the protest remained peaceful.
