Furious at TDP attacks, Jagan asks ministers to launch a counter-offensive

Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to take Telugu Desam party by the horns and blunt its ‘propaganda tool’. “Every minister should launch a counterattack to any allegation and criticism of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). They should react strongly to the yellow media,” Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said.

After the cabinet meeting, CM had a private meeting with the cabinet ministers. He expressed his displeasure at why ministers are keeping calm even after the opposition spread fake news against the government.

According to reports, the ministers were asked to explain the facts to the people. Jagan felt that the people of Andhra Pradesh are always positive towards the government, which is demonstrated by the victory of the YSRCP in the elections. Unable to digest the fact, TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu along with yellow media channels repeatedly publish fake news about the government.

Allegations against family members

After the TDP accused Jagan’s wife, YS Bharthi, as well as leader and MP V. Vijaya Sai Reddy, of playing a role in the Delhi booze scam, Jagan said that yellow media was spreading fake news. Ministers have been asked to debunk the allegations made against family members. He expressed his anger at the opposition for making allegations against their family members.

It may be recalled that TDP party leader Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy alleged that Rs 5,000 crore earned illegally by Adan Distilleries was used in the Delhi Liquor scam. He alleged that Panaka Sarath Reddy, who has a financial relationship with Vijayasai Reddy, is currently being investigated by the CBI in the Delhi liquor scam. He also alleged that Jagan traveled to Davos solely for these transactions.
